1 Agentic operations Trial
AI agents that take action in IT operations, not just suggest it. Worth piloting now on work that is bounded and easy to undo: enriching tickets, gathering diagnostics, restarting a known-safe service. Keep a person approving anything that changes production until you have watched it work, and decide in advance what the agent is never allowed to touch.

2 Wi-Fi 7 Trial
If you are replacing access points anyway, it is reasonable to buy Wi-Fi 7. It is not a reason to replace working Wi-Fi 6 or 6E equipment. The benefit depends on devices that support it and on switches and cabling that can feed the access points, so check those before the access points themselves.
3 AI PCs Assess
Laptops and desktops with a processor for running AI features on the device. Buy them when they arrive as part of your normal refresh. We would not pay a premium or refresh early for the AI hardware alone until you have a specific application that needs it.

4 Post-quantum encryption Assess
Future quantum computers are expected to break some of the encryption in use today, and replacement standards have been published by NIST. There is nothing to buy yet. The useful work now is an inventory: where encryption is used, which systems hold data that must stay confidential for many years, and what each of your vendors plans to do.
5 Private 5G Hold
A cellular network you run yourself. It suits large outdoor sites and industrial settings where Wi-Fi struggles. For offices, schools and city buildings, well-designed Wi-Fi does the job at lower cost and with skills you already have. Revisit if you have a campus-scale outdoor coverage problem.
